Elizabeth (Candy) Frost:
Born and raised on Long Island, in New York on May 30, 1955
Deaf since birth and graduated from Academy of St Joseph’s High School in 1974
Went to work at the Internal Revenue Service Center until 1988
Francis C Scandaliato:
Born and raised also on Long Island on Feb 07, 1952
Deaf since birth and graduated from Gallaudect University, Washington DC in 1977
Went to work at IRS until 1990
Personal:
Candy and Francis met at IRS and married in July 1980.
Son, Joseph was born in 1982 and daughter, Sarah in 1983.
Became Christians in 1984.
Moved to Colorado in 1990 and was without job for a year. Francis has been with Postal Service since 1991 and hopes to retire in the fall of 2010.
Candy worked at the animal hospital as animal tech care for 3 years and has been homemaker for most part.
Granddaughter, Jasmine Rose was born in 2001 and has since been living with us while Sarah goes to college to earn her degrees and working.
Joseph had gone to work for a car dealership, starting as an uniformed employee to move the cars, washed the cars, picking up parts. He eventually moved up to salesman and now as a finance manager.
Proud of both children working hard to succeed!
Hobbies/Interests:
Candy- crafts (quilting, crocheting and sewing), cooking, reading, camping, swimming (loves beaches), teaching sign language, church events planning
Francis- sports (basketball player in college), coin collection, bowling leagues, boating, fishing
Both- visiting model homes, traveling (favorite places: Las Vegas and Puerto Rico), furniture shopping, gardening, home decorating
